Ajatsatru

Ajatsatru (flourished in 5th century BC) was the son of Bimbisar. He built Patali fortress which later developed into the imperial city of Pataliputra. He was a powerful ruler who expanded the domains of Magadha. He was alleged to have committed patricide.
