Alfred of Beverley

Alfred of Beverley (d. 1129) was an English chronicler of the 12th century. He was sacrist of the collegiate church of St John the Evangelist and St John of Beverley. His annals comprise the history of the Britons, Saxons, and Normans up to his own time.
