Anupu

Anupu is a place of historical and religious importance, situated in Andhra Pradesh, a State of India. There are reconstruction sites at Anupu on the east bank of the Krshna river. There is a temple built in 3rd-4th century. The monasteries here dates from 4th century. It has also a refectory, a store and a bath. There is also a Stadium which was built in 4th century. This stadium has tiered galleries providing seating around a rectangular court.
