Aristoxenus of Tarentum
Aristoxenus of Tarentum (born c. 375 BC) was a Greek philosopher, author of the "Elements of Harmony," the only one of his many works extant, and one of the oldest writers on music. He was contemporary of Aristotle. He flourished around 335 BC.Nearby pages
