Astilbe

Astilbe, literally not glittering in Greek, is an Old World plant of the genus of the same name belonging to saxifrage family (Saxifragaceae). It derives its name from its individual flowers which are small and inconspicuous. Its plumes have tiny white, pink, or red flowers.
