Atmospheric pressure

Atmospheric pressure, also called barometric pressure, is a term in physics for the pressure exerted by the weight of the atmosphere at any particular place. It is calculated at mean sea level, and the unit used is atm. One atm is equal to 101,325 pascals, ie roughly 14.6959 pounds per square inch.
