Baghelkhand

Baghelkhand was the name of a historical and geographical region comprised of five native states in Central India during British Raj, Rewah the most prosperous. Baghelkhand agency established in 1871 had Rewa and 11 minor states. The region today includes several districts of Madhya Pradesh, such as Rewa, Satna, Shahdol, and Sidhi, and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
