Beach plum

Beach plum is a maritime shrub or its fruit. It is native to northeastern North America. It is related to the plum and typically grows on seashores or beaches, hence its name. Its fruit is edible. Botanical name of beach plum is Prunus maritima, and it belongs to the family Rosaceae.
