Beaker

Beaker is a container, made of glass, cylindrical in shape, and lipped at the top. It is used in laboratory. Any large drinking container with a wide mouth is also called a beaker, but in this sense the term is chiefly used in literature, however, considered archaic. In archaeology, a beaker is a waisted pot unearthed from graves of the Beaker folk of c.2700-1700 BC Europe.
