Fred Allen

Fred Allen (1894 - 1956), original name John Florence Sullivan, was a US comedian. His absurdist, topically pointed radio program "The Fred Allen Show" (Fred Allen being his professional name) made him one of the most popular and forward-looking humorists in the Golden Age of American radio.
