Jean Clerc

Jean Clerc (1657-1736), also Jean Le Clerc, original name Johannes Clericus, was a French theologian of the Arminian school, born at Geneva. He was a prolific author. He wrote commentaries on all the books of the Old Testament, on lines since followed by the Rationalist school or Neologians of Germany.
