Kumbhakarna

Kumbhakarna, in Hindu mythology, was a younger brother to Ravana, the demon-king of Lanka. He was a voracious eater consuming large quantity of food and drink. He, under a boon from Brahma the god of creation, used to sleep for six-months, and thereafter awake for only one day. Having taken food on that day he again slept for six months. Lord Ram killed him at the battle of Lanka.
