MacClintock

MacClintock (1819-1891), also Sir Francis Leopold MacClintock, was an Irish born British Royal Navy officer and Arctic navigator, born at Dundalk. He was sent out by Lady Franklin to discover the fate of Sir John and his crew. He wrote an account of the voyage.
