Makhan Lal Dey

Makhan Lal Dey was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1906 at Dhamrai, Dacca, now in Bangladesh. He Came in contact with Yugantar party. He was arrested in connection with Dhamrai Mail Action in 1933, and subsequently sentenced to 5 years prison term. He was married before arrest. After the sentence, he was deported to Andamans. Prior to this conviction and deportation was arrested in 1930 during civil disobedience movement at Mymensingh in connection with an incident known as Ware house shooting case. Was convicted to 7 years but was released after Ganhi- Irwin pact. His total jail period about 7 years.
