Principle

Principle is the fundamental doctrine that serves as the foundation of certain system.

The systems can be a system of belief, behaviour, chain of reasoning, or anything else.

Principles are either fundamental truths or a propositions derived from certain fundamental truths. In common parlance, these are rules governing a system.

Philosophers are of the view that the whole existence exists on certain principles from the time immemorial. They have just been revealed to the human intellect in due course of time. We, from that knowledge of the fundamental truths, have derived numerous other principles, which included even the principles of human beliefs, behaviours and reasonings.
