Setubal

Setubal, also called St. Ubes in English and Saint-Yves in French in the 19th century, is a fortified seaport of Portugal, at the mouth of the Sado, on a bay of the same name, 17 miles South-East of Lisbon. It has a good trade in wine, salt, and oranges. In its neighbourhood is a remarkable stalactite cave.
