Sringaverpur

Sringaverpur was an ancient place in India. The site of the ancient Sringaverpur is marked by a village bearing the same name under the modernized form 'Singraur' about 22 miles to the north-west of Allahabad. Once there was the Ganga river. The Ganga has now changed its course and only a small branch flows through the old channel.
