St Kitts

St Kitts, also St Christopher, is one of the Leeward Islands, in the West Indies archipelago, 45 miles northwest of Guadeloupe. It is a narrow mountainous island, 23 miles long. It produces sugar, molasses, rum, &c. Its capital is Basse-terre.
