While telling about the various aspects of the task, the presidents will also tell the difficulties they are encountering during the month given to complete task. Also the presidents will tell the cooperation they got from the party men. Both Chaudhary and Patwari will formulate steps to strengthen the organisation.
As for the BJP, the party took up the task of long-due political appointments of chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the 40 independent corporations and boards. Their names could also be announced during the auspicious Navratri festivals.
On Friday, CM Mohan Yadav reached the residence of former Union minister and Speaker of the state assembly Narendra Singh Tomar. Yadav and Tomar held a closed-door meeting which was kept confidential. On the same day, minister for urban administration Kailash Vijayvargiya rushed to New Delhi and met Union home minister Amit Shah. The day before, on Thursday, another prominent BJP face in the state, former home minister Narottam Mishra, went to Raj Bhavan and met Governor Mangubhai Patel.
The most important of these meetings was held at the chief minister's official residence at 6, Shyamla Hills on Saturday morning. It was attended by chief minister Yadav, BJP national co-organisational general secretary Shivprakash, state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, state party organisational general secretary Hitanand Sharma, deputy chief ministers Jagdish Dewda and Rajendra Shulka, cabinet ministers Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel, and Rakesh Singh. "This was a regular meeting between the party top brass and the govt regarding implementation of welfare schemes and the upcoming campaigns of the party," said state BJP spokesman Ajay Singh Yadav.
"The main agenda is strengthening of the organisation," he claimed. However, sources claimed that the closed-door meeting continued for more than an hour and a half. Every senior leader was given a list of names for appointment into the boards and corporations. These appointments were delayed by nearly two years since the govt was formed in 2023. Many of these have been lying vacant since the BJP returned to power after the fall of the 15-month Kamal Nath govt.
In the last week of August, BJP national coordinating general secretary BL Santosh was on a two-day visit to the state. During this time, he held a series of meetings with the party top brass and RSS functionaries to take feedback on prominent aspirants for the appointments to the boards and corporations.
